Scott Erickson relocated to Lexington after teaching oboe, bassoon, and saxophone at Murray State University for 36 years. Mr. Erickson has taught private lessons to over 150 middle and high schools students, and 50 of the (14 oboes, 13 bassoons and 23 saxes) have been selected for a Kentucky All-State ensemble. Many have attended the Governor's School for the Arts as well. Mr. Erickson also has extensive experience studying and teaching the clarinet, and is currently the clarinet instructor at Scott County High School. He has a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Wisconsin and a master's degree in multiple woodwinds from the University of Michigan.
Steven A. Pederson

Steven A. Pederson is currently serving as a conductor, teacher, adjudicator, clinician, and clarinetist, having recently retired as a college band director. He has taught for 40 years on the college and high school levels. He has served as Director of Bands/Orchestras and Clarinet/Saxophone Professor at the University of Louisiana Monroe, The University of Central
Arkansas, Kentucky Wesleyan College, and Centre College.
He has completed his undergraduate and graduate work from Wartburg College (Magna Cum Laude), the University of Iowa, and the University of Kansas in music education, clarinet performance, and instrumental conducting, respectively.
He has served as a guest conductor, clinician, consultant, and adjudicator for wind bands and orchestras throughout the United States. He has recently completed texts on Marching Band Techniques and Concert Band Techniques. In addition, he has performed as clarinetist with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Monroe Symphony Orchestra, Lawrence Orchestra, and the Kansas City Repertoire Orchestra. He has also served as conductor and clarinetist with the Arkansas Contemporary Ensemble, the Kansas New Music Ensemble, and the New Music on the Bayou Festival.

Dave Gillespie has successfully taught piano at Don Wilson Music since 1984. He is also the piano director/teacher for the Piano Majors at the School for the Creative and Performing Arts, (SCAPA) where he has been since 1998. He also direct the jazz band there. Dave has both a Bachelor and Master degree in Music from the University of KY. In addition, over the past 50m years, he has performed extensively on piano throughout the area, and continues at Jeff Ruby's Restaurant most weekends.
Dave believes in making the study of piano enjoyable, satisfying and even inspiring. He does this with a structured and organized approach. He teaches beginners as well as more advanced students, everything from Classical to Popular, as well as Jazz, Blues and Jazz improvisation. Robert is currently a freelance trombonist/Instructor in the greater Lexington area. He graduated from EKU in 2012 with a degree in Music Industry Studies. Robert is an active member of the music performing community in Lexington as well as maintaining a private trombone studio for 15+ years.
